Dan Stewart is a filmmaker based in Chicago, Illinois while he pursues his MFA in the Film and Television Directing program at DePaul University. He holds a BGS in Film and Media Studies from the University of Kansas with minor degrees in Journalism and Visual Art.
His film work has been exhibited internationally in festivals in London, Montreal, New York, and Kansas City. He actively volunteers with the American Legion Missouri Boys State program each June teaching video production and broadcast journalism to distinguished young men. He has done freelance video production work for a diverse range of clients, including Steve Foley Rolls Royce, Grant’s Farm, Emerson Electric, St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame, Cordell and Cordell Law Firm, and Delta Chi Fraternity.
